What are crop circles?  Who is responsible for them?  What is the meaning behind them?  Why do they have such a profound effect on us?   Crop circles are patterns formed in the fields throughout the world.  England is famous for them in the Avebury / Wiltshire area.  The few I’ve painted are from Wiltshire, England, July 1999 and July 2000.  If you take time to study crop circles you will become amazed at the complexity of them, there also seems to be some connection between ancient sites and the placing of the circles.
Can Humans make Crop Circles?  You can answer that yourself by trying to mark one out on paper at home.   The more difficult patterns require many reference points for your compass, and to get them 100% geometrical, well… try one on A4 paper and experience the difficulty.  Next, try to imagine doing one on a grand scale in the dark on a field of barley.   That’s all it takes to realize the phenomenon we are dealing with.   As you take time to study crop circles the complexity and difficulty of making them becomes apparent.  It even becomes obvious that mankind can not make them. Let’s not beat about the bush…..We can not make them.
	So what is the meaning and purpose of Crop Circles? To understand that question it’s important to understand sacred geometry (see web), as well as why certain shapes have an effect on us.  We also find certain crop circles are Diatonic (Hawkins).  Diatonic Ratios are what musicologists refer to as the perfect intervals of the music scale, the white notes on a piano.  Therefore, whoever is making the crop circles; it is obvious that they are making them for us. To awaken us perhaps?  Why would patterns in fields awaken us?
That question takes us into other realms of understanding.  Let’s get one thing straight; mankind has been around for millions of years.  Our present civilization has developed in the epoch of Pisces, we re now on the verge of Aquarius.  The ancient tell us we are in Kali Yuga (Yuga meaning age – Kali means this particular age).  It began 3102BC.  Before that time our consciousness was a lot higher than it is now.  We dropped to the dense 3rd dimension were we now find ourselves.  Conditioned and confused, that is mankind today.
	But if you were to become enlightened, the first thing you would want to do would be to help your fellow man.  How?  What about putting patterns on the landscape that our sub-conscious will recognize.  The more we observe them the more we feel them.  As we feel them it leads to a remembrance.  This remembrance leads to an inner awakening.  Sounds good doesn’t it?  Until you realize that with an awakening comes a balancing of karma, a clearing out of the old you, so the new you can move on with this remembrance.  You could call it a purification.  Cleansed of what you don’t need to perfect your soul to help others negotiate the highway of life.  All this from patterns in fields well don’t believe me, try it for yourself.  There are many good books and videos (DVD’s) on the market for you to understand.  Draw the patterns, Colour them and then maybe you will begin to understand this gift.
