The Christ
A deeper
understanding
Here
are the nine ways in which mankind is divided
1.
You
have divided motives in religious acts
2.
You
pray in two directions one for god to hear, one for
others
3.
You
fast with divided purpose for god, and so men can see how you
are
4.
You
lay treasure in two directions, the earth and
heaven
5.
You
see in two directions
6.
Loyal
in two directions, god and mammon
7.
Anxious
in two directions, what you eat and drink and how you are
clothed
8.
You
criticize in two directions in two directions, heavy for others,
lightly for self
9.
Giving
yourself in two directions, yourself to god, your personality to
appetite and desire
These
are the causes of our failure.
Everything
in heaven and earth is open to the man who himself is
open
We
become as little children frank, open, simple
As
children before society wears us down or try’s
too
We
amaze at life’s beauties at natures wonders, and then school begins.
But and a big but is if we can hold those feelings of wonder and
amazement into old age, then the doors of heaven and nature would be
open to us.
We
could say:
Sow
a thought
you reap an act
Sow
an act
you reap a habit
Sow
a habit
you reap a character
Sow
a character
you reap a destiny
I
think to have a deeper understanding of the Christ; one has to
understand the Sermon on the Mount. It lays down guide lines for the
betterment of the self.
To
follow these guide lines are a mighty task, but then to become
enlightened is surely a mighty task. To become enlightened one has
to have complete control of the self-ego and all. As one follows the
path, the ancient memory encoded in us is stirred. This brings us to
a deeper understanding of the ancient past of man.
The
many lives we have lived, from spiritual beings to forgetfulness.
All have their purpose, as we slowly move out of forgetfulness our
ancient past will be revealed to us. Have you noticed how many
books, DVDs, s on ancient knowledge, Atlantis for example, have
suddenly born fruit. They are a reminder for all of us as we
approach the end of one cycle. We have at our fingertips so much
available knowledge or have we? What of the homeless, or our
children in schools or p.o.w.camps as they now are becoming.
To
enlighten ourselves is one thing, but our children? Schools teach
what to think and not how to think, so are they true to us? Is the
connection between father sun and mother earth taught to our
children?
Modern
youth at the age of seven saw through their parents and
characterized them in a phrase.
- At
fourteen they saw through education, and dodged
it.
- At
eighteen they saw through morality and stepped over
it.
- At
twenty they lost respect for their home towns.
- At
twenty one they discovered that our social system is
ridiculous.
So
what are we going to do about this, ignore it and hope it goes away?
Is not that what we have been doing the last eighty years? No
reverence for our mother the earth leads us down these blind alleys.
A new awakening is upon us how will we rise to the
challenge?
Thoughts
to ponder…..
Sermon
on the Mount teachings
Explore
the thought who is Christ?
To you?
To me?
What
are we to make of his teachings?
Why
do the teachings of Christ appear to be diametrically opposite the
teachings of the church?
